The Story
A stunning opal watch chain from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This elegant piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold, and features 10 bezel set opals strung on a dainty chain. The white oval cut opal cabochons have lovely flashes of blue, green, red, orange, and yellow. The chain features a watch clasp, which would be perfect for attaching a favorite locket or pendant. The generous length of the necklace allows it to be slipped on easily, and could be doubled on the neck. A stunning piece, this watch chain would make the perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 54" in total length. Each opal link measures approximately 3/8" long and 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the watch chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the opals are intact and securely set and the watch clasp is secure and in working order.
