A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful ring holds a stunning Oval Cut diamond at the center of an elegant design. The stone, which has a total weight of 0.84ctw, rests within a classic 4-prong setting, exhibiting I color and SI1 clarity. Gorgeous tapered baguette diamonds adorn each shoulder of the mounting, with delicate airline cutouts that are visible from the side. The inside of the polished band reads"10% IRID PLAT". When worn, the ring is positively radiant and the piece would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could easily be resized. The center stone rests approximately 3/16" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
