A fantastic memory urn pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The pendant, which is made of sterling silver, depicts a gorgeous 3-dimensional urn. The urn has a flat, circular bottom and is able to stand on its own. The body of the urn is etched with a delicate design that carries around the entire piece, including its arms. The top half of the urn flips open to reveal a hollow inside which is the perfect place for a treasured picture or note. The entire pendant hangs from a simple silver bail. This beautiful pendant would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: When closed, the memory urn pendant hangs approximately 1 1/2" tall, is 7/8” wide, and approximately 1/2" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver. The pendant opens easily and stays securely closed.
