The Story
An absolutely fantastic pair of silver earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring, which is particularly large in size, is made of sterling silver and is beautifully decorated with an unusual and lovely design. The earrings, which have a 3-dimensional appearance, hang from a small ball topper which is attached to the earring wires. A scrolling link, which holds a wide hoop with intricate geometric punch work, hangs from the surmount with a silver ball hanging in the center of the hoop. Very light and comfortable to wear, these marvelous earrings look absolutely stunning on. They would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long, is 1/2" at the widest point and slightly more than 3/4 in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling earrings or to the earring wires.
